Velaura
Terms of Use
Last updated: June 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the Velaura team for your use of the Velaura app and this website. They’re written to be read.
1. Using Velaura
Velaura is a calm coloring and creative studio for iPad. You may use it for personal, non-commercial creativity. You must comply with applicable law and these terms. If you use Velaura on behalf of a child, you are responsible for their use.
2. Your content
Anything you create in Velaura is yours. We claim no ownership of your artwork. If you publish artwork to the community Showcase, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that artwork within the app and in connection with operating the Showcase, until you remove it or delete your account. You can unpublish your work at any time.
If you import images (for example, line art from a creator you follow), you are responsible for having the right to use them. Don’t import or publish content you don’t have permission to use.
3. Community standards
The Showcase is a gentle place, and we intend to keep it that way. Don’t publish content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content or restrict accounts that harm the community, and where appropriate we’ll tell you why.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Optional Premium and Premium Plus memberships are billed through your Apple ID by the App Store, on the terms Apple presents at purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Use “Restore Purchases” in the app to bring a membership to a new device.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
5. What we provide
We work to keep Velaura available, beautiful, and safe, and to add to its library over time. Features may evolve; if we ever materially reduce what a paid membership includes, we’ll communicate it. Velaura is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
6. Intellectual property
The Velaura name, app, design, hand-drawn library pages, papers, textures, and brushes are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Coloring a library page makes the colored result yours to enjoy and share; it doesn’t transfer ownership of the underlying template, and bulk extraction or redistribution of library content is not permitted.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of Velaura. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending things
You can stop using Velaura at any time and delete your account in the app or by email. We may suspend or end access for accounts that breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as your content license while published, intellectual property, and liability limits) survive termination.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as Velaura grows. We’ll update the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app or on this site. Continuing to use Velaura after changes take effect means you accept them.
