Data Access & Deletion

You stay in control of your data. This page explains how to get a copy of what we hold, and how to delete your account — whichever path is easier for you.

If you never signed in

There is nothing for us to access or delete: your artwork and settings exist only on your iPad. Deleting the app removes them (consider exporting favorites to Photos first).

Requesting a copy of your data

Email privacy@velaura.app from the address linked to your account with the subject “Data access request”. We will reply with the personal data associated with your account — your profile details and any published or synced artwork — in a portable format, normally within 30 days.

Deleting your account

Option 1 — in the app (fastest)

  • Open Velaura and go to Settings → Account.
  • Choose Delete account and confirm.

Option 2 — by email

  • Write to privacy@velaura.app with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address linked to your account.
  • We will confirm and complete the deletion, normally within 30 days.

What deletion does

  • Your cloud profile (display name, username, avatar) is removed.
  • Artwork you published to the Showcase is unpublished and deleted.
  • Synced artwork and account records are deleted from active systems.
  • Reactions and comments you left are removed or disassociated.
  • Artwork stored locally on your iPad is not touched — it stays on your device, and you can keep creating without an account.
  • Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis.

Active subscriptions are billed by Apple, so deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — manage that in your Apple ID settings (see Support for steps).

Verification

To protect your work, we act only on requests we can verify — usually by checking that the email matches the account, or by a confirmation from inside the app. We may ask a follow-up question if something doesn’t line up.
